What are your favorite things about being in this major?
- I like the crime scene course, and the connections I’ve been able to make – specifically with the Federal Bureau of Investigation and University Police Department.

What is the most interesting thing about your major?
- I like how versatile the classes are and classes that are geared towards each aspect of forensics.

Why did you want to pursue this major?
- I believe the quote by professor, Tiffany Edwards, sums up why I want to pursue this major. “Because it gives a voice to those who don’t have one.”

How have your professors and/or staff helped you be successful?
- They have been easy to talk to and I’ve been able to make personal connections with professors.

What skills and/or knowledge have you gained that you feel will help you be successful in your future career?
- I gained a lot of skills from my internship class with Professor O’Brien - especially interviews. The program also works to create scenarios and class work that is as close to real life as they can get. I also like learning the forensic biology application to examination.

What are your career goals?
- Once graduated, I would like to work as a Crime Scene Investigator or be a part of the Evidence Response Team. My long-term goal would be to work for the FBI.

What is your favorite place on campus?
- My favorite place on campus is Woodburn Circle!

What is your most memorable moment at WVU?
- My most memorable moment at WVU is beating the University of Pittsburgh Fall of 2022.

What is your favorite class and why?
- My favorite class is Crime Scene Investigation because it's close to real-world experiences and a glimpse into what I would like to do.

Why did you choose WVU?
- I chose WVU for the FIS program, atmosphere, because it’s close to home, and I had friends with good things to say about it.

What advice would you give to an incoming student in the same major?
- Find your group in the major to stick with, study with, and schedule with.
