Lacey Leatherland

MS Student

Lacey Leatherland is a second-year Master’s student working in Dr. Tatiana Trejos’ research group. Her research focuses on the elemental analysis of electrical tapes using modern micro-X-ray Fluorescence (u-XRF) SDD systems.

Lacey is a Master’s student from Olathe, Kansas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Physics with a minor in Mathematics from Trevecca Nazarene University in 2022. She is currently a Graduate Teaching Assistant in WVU’s FIS Department, where she instructs laboratory sections of Forensic Chemical Analysis, Forensic Toxicology, Arson and Explosives, Microscopy, and Latent Prints.
