President Gee Visits FIS Graduate Students

As part of President Gee’s initiative to learn more about our Mountaineers’ educational experiences, he surprised FIS Graduate Seminar students with a visit to their class during Valentine’s day.

Students had the opportunity to discuss with President Gee this semester’s project of organizing the First Forensic Graduate Symposium. FIS students talked about their research projects and how the graduate seminar is helping them to enhance their communication, organizational, teamwork, and networking skills.

President Gee sheered up the students, brought them WVU cookies, and discussed with them the importance of keeping passion, pride, and kindness throughout their careers as part of the imprint of a WVU mountaineer!  Part of the interview appeared in the next Gee-mail, to view, please click:  https://wvutoday.wvu.edu/stories/2020/02/24/gee-mail-spreading-kindness-like-confetti

The Graduate Forensic Science Seminar Symposium will take place on May 1, 2020. Please check on the FIS webpage for more information as it becomes available.
