Thirty-seven students were awarded their Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic
and Investigative Science at the May 17, 2015 Commencement Ceremony. The program
has grown significantly since the first graduating class of three students
in 2001.
Three students were inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the nation’s oldest and widely considered to be the most prestigious academic honorary: Heather Birks, Ian Brooker, and Taylor Federchook.
The faculty recognized Taylor Federchook as the Outstanding Forensic Biology Student; Ryan Dross as the Outstanding Forensic Chemistry Student; and Heather Birks and Ryan Lemon as the Outstanding Forensic Examiner Students.
Taylor Federchook was the unanimous choice for Overall Outstanding Forensic Science Student. Taylor was an Honors College Student, and her 4.0 GPA, with dual degrees in Forensic and Investigative Science and Biology, distinguished her from others.
