Samantha Neal

Ms. Neal earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and forensic and investigative science from West Virginia University in 2005, and her Master of Legal Studies in 2015 from West Virginia University. She also received a certificate in Professional Writing and Editing in 2012 from West Virginia University.

Ms. Neal started her career as an instructional coordinator for the Forensic and Investigative Science Outreach, a program that provided scientific resources and professional training for forensic scientists and related professionals. Ms. Neal has been the instructor for several online undergraduate courses in forensic science. She developed and coordinated online and on-site continuing education courses and programs in forensic science. Her article, “Continuing Professional Development,” was published in the Encyclopedia of Forensic Sciences, Second Edition.  She is currently a Member of the General Section of the American Academy of Forensic Science and a Member of the Mid-Atlantic Association of Forensic Science.

Ms. Neal teaches Introduction to Forensic Identification (FIS 201) for the ACCESS program.
