Forensic Science Academy for Professionals
The courses and workshops offered by the West Virginia University Forensic Science Academy for Professionals were developed to meet the diverse needs and requests of the forensic science community. These activities provide quality education and training to practicing forensic scientists, public attorneys, and law enforcement officers across the country and abroad who have the desire to enhance their knowledge and skills in this rapidly evolving field.
This program originated in 2001 with funding from the National Institute of Justice. Since 2001, we have trained and educated more than 15,000+ forensic professionals.
The Forensic Science Academy for Professionals was launched October 1, 2015.
