Required core courses
- Advanced Forensic Science (FIS 501) (3 hr)
- Forensic Laboratory Management (FIS 502) (3 hr)
- Forensic Casework Practicum (FIS 620) (3 hr)
- Advanced Forensic Chemistry (FIS 660) (3 hr)
- Advanced Forensic Biology (FIS 632) (3 hr)
- Trace Evidence Examination (FIS 614) (3 hr)
- Advanced Forensic Statistics (STAT 516) (3hr)
- Forensic Informatics (FIS 602) (3 hr)
Forensic Seminar (FIS 696) (4 hr)
- Each student must make a presentation at a forensic seminar.
- All students must attend all seminars.
Research/Thesis/Project (FIS 697) (6 hr)
- Students must select a faculty member with whom they will perform their approved research thesis.
- Students will be required to defend their research project in a public forum before their committee.
